ADAPTATION PRODUCER

Managing and developing relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues to facilitate delivery of adaptation projects. You will be supporting & reporting directly to the Managing Producer/Account Director on a specific account.


POSITION: Adaptation Producer – Temporary to Permanent
START DATE: ASAP
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-3 years

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as an Adaptation Producer
  • Bi-lingual or knowledge of multiple languages very advantageous

 

FEATURES OF THIS ROLE:

Managing and developing relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues to facilitate delivery of adaptation projects. You will be supporting & reporting directly to the Managing Producer/Account Director on a specific account.

This position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Zebra is a growing company and fosters an entrepreneurial spirit. Innovation coupled with personal growth are highly desirable attributes for this position.

We are looking for somebody with proven skills, experience and competency as a Post Production Producer – specifically adaptation/reversioning.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent knowledge of post-production and international versioning / adaptation
  • Experience working in post environment
  • Technically confident with common TV formats, codecs, audio files etc.
  • Awareness of post-production software: Avid, FCP, Premier, After Effects, 3DS Max, Nuke etc.
  • Good TV admin skills – Usage rights; media schedule fulfillment, play-out process etc.
  • Knowledge of delivery systems: i.e. Adstream, Beam, IMD, Dub-Sat
  • Adaptation experience: comfortable with global broadcast specs, local regulators, working in other languages including voice records
  • Must have experience of working in the broadcast environment and therefore knowledgeable on the advertising standards & regulations, including an understanding of clearance processes in market

  • Regular place of work shall be Central London
  • Standard working hours are from 9:30am – 18:30pm, including a one hour lunch break or breaks totalling one hour
  • Employee is entitled to 22 working days (plus public holidays) as holiday leave, to be booked in and approved in advance

  • 1.5 – 2 years of post work within the French market would be preferred

 

FEATURES OF THIS ROLE:

Experience and knowledge of the broadcast environment is required for this role. An overall highly organised individual who has the ability to work and manage our French Clients directly with credible gravitas and confidence. Importantly, the individual must be an experienced team player who will be working closely with the lead Senior Producer for the specified region whilst also being able to manage workflow and projects confidently in the absence of the lead Senior Producer. This is an exciting chance to join a fast growing, fun and vibrant team, with great opportunities for career progression.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • We ideally require fluency in French. They must also be fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Experience in MS Office software: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Adaptation experience required: this includes and an understanding of the process from brief to delivery of the spot i.e localised edit, local voice over recordings, clearance procedures and delivery of spots to global broadcast specs
  • TV administrative experience – Usage rights; media schedule fulfilment, play-out processes etc.
  • Knowledge/experience of post-production and international versioning / adaptation would be an advantage
  • Technically confident with common TV formats, codecs, audio files etc.
  • Awareness of post-production software: Avid, FCP, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, 3DS Max, Nuke etc.
